Through collaboration with community partners, PMGG, Inc. will provide mentors, shelter, training, counseling and employment services for prison inmates who are transitioning back into our communities. Through biblical foundations, we seek to reduce the recidivism rate of inmates released in South Tampa Bay counties and provide a pay-it forward model for inmates to mentor youth at risk.
WHAT WE DO
Our Approach
We are the voice of positive motivation in prison ministry; the voice that shouts “stop the revolving doors.” Through collaboration with community partners, PMGG, Inc. will provide mentors, shelter, training, counseling and employment services for prison inmates who are transitioning back into our communities.
Stop the revolving doors.
We invest in positive motivation, personal development and spiritual growth of all our participants. Our approach will have 5 foundational pillars:
Reach - We will mentor and evangelize behind the walls and share the good news of Jesus Christ.
Restore - We will restore hope through faith-based programs and services.
Reside - We will provide a supportive housing environment through transitional housing.
Rehabilitate - We will provide healing programs for detox and family counseling.
Re-integrate - We will provide educational services, family connections, employment opportunities, vocational and technical training and certification, and community outreach.
Testimonies
Read the stories of people whose lives were touched by PMGG, Inc.
"On my fifth return to prison, I met an awesome group of PMGG, Inc. mentors at Avon Park Correctional Institution. They saw something in me that I didn't see in myself. I began to understand the love and grace of God as they helped me prepare for eventual release into society. After release, I became an ordained Minister and later a Pastor. I'm grateful for PMGG;s behind the wall mentoring because it helped pave the way for my ministry at Miracle Deliverance House Of Faith Church in Covington, Georgia."
